Posted by Robert Fisher on February 29, 2008
The roots of Peace-Tohickon Evangelical Lutheran Church run deep, very deep, with a presence in the Perkasie area that can be traced back 265 years.
But church officials say now is the time to look to the future, and that means expansion.
To accommodate a growing Upper Bucks community, Peace-Tohickon in East Rockhill is planning a $2 million to $3 million expansion project. The goal is to give the Old Bethlehem Road church some breathing room.

Pastor David Shaheen has erected in the vestibule a little flag from every land. “Our congregation is very proud of its diversity,” he says. “India is my most recent flag.”
